Dare to go alone.
The Game Show Network (GSN) made the horror community light up with joy last year when premiering a new, cash prize show that is equal parts terrifying and exhilarating: HELLEVATOR.
Produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions and Todd Lubin, each episode taking on a new storyline, game show participants enter an elevator that stops on different floors. Each floor presents a challenge that must be completed within a set amount of time. There's a catch though. You don't get to bring a friend.
Every floor progressively becomes more difficult and more horrifying so participants carefully assign themselves to each floor, and if they're lucky and make it out unscathed and on time? They are granted access to the INFERNO, which is the master floor of cash prizes.
Hosted by film writers and directors Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary, See No Evil 2, Vendetta), the Deadpool-adoring Twisted Twins don't hold back the taunts and haunts in Hellevator.
The two monitor the unlucky three that enter the Hellevator each episode in the control room. There, they operate the scare levels and deliver commentary while each challenge is observed.
Not only are Jen and Sylvia masters of horror, but they are comic book nerds with a strong love for Deadpool and Painkiller Jane! Their first released comic book featured Night Nurse in Marvel's Secret Wars Journal #5, and they have a graphic novel on the way in collaboration with Daniel Way!
Don't miss tonight's HELLEVATOR season finale on GSN at 8/7c!
Want more HELLEVATOR? Season 1 is on Netflix right now, and it's the perfect time to marathon! If you're attending Stan Lee's Comic Convention, keep an eye out for guests Jen and Sylvia Soska.
